Hi Clive,

A friend of mine near Exeter ran the 3 cylinder version of that engine for several years on solid vegetable fat - having devised a reliable liquefaction and preheating system.

Well filtered WVO should be no problem, provided that you preheat the injector lines - say with a PTC process heater or line heating tape.

The hotter the oil injected - the less carbon build up.
