[wastewatts] Re: Texaranaka, Texas, KOH

Maud, same Texaranaka, I called this company yesterday, the lady was suppose to call me back. I can get it Both at Parker in Ft Smilth Ark. but it is 3 1/3 hour drive, one way. I can get the KOH from Dallas, but also a 3 hour drive, one way. I was getting methanol , can still from a racing team in both Texaranaka and maby ,Paris, texas, but not the KOH. but the guy there is Very foul muth with 4 letter words, and i would have my 16 yr old grand daughter with me . So I am hoping to find a place with in 100 miles of my location.
We hasve a couple of chemical companies local, fertilizers mostly for farming. But they become very with drawn, do not want to talk about methanol ,lye, or KOH, I suppose due to so many meth labs being here. But I am thinking, we have been doing this 2 1/2 years, you can clearly smell the difference in exhaust, and it has drawn a few comments, so I am going to try and reconvince them to order it for me, depending on shhipping. I had one company agent in Paris offered to get it for me out of Paris yesterday, from Indinia, I think it was. But by the time shipping, hasmat, and lift gate fees where added, I would be better off driving to Ft Smith.
My son use to go get all this stuff for me, but he has gone back over the road for six months. Sometimes it is hard to appriciate a loud mouthed, hard working son, until he is not present. On the other hand, suddenly our 30 gallon a week use rate, has dropped to about 17 or 18 gallons a week. And with one Grand daught, now gone off to college, and only one left at home, I expect it to drop. That may sound Great, considering all my past complaing about family using fuel faster than i could keep up with supply. But it is just as bad, maby worse, being an old man left at home along, or I miss them.
If you think back, a few months ago, I had a shortage of oil. Now I have one gallons, plus 30 gallons of finished fuel. And I have another 50 gallons needing to be picked up. If it keeps up, I will have to build a decent oil heater for the house, get rid of $600 worth of winter heating bills. Or will I become a has been. ; as I was looking at the saw mill this morning, which has not been run in almost a year, logs rotting on the ground.
Thanks for the reply, Bill C
